1. Purpose
Jay Logistics & Trade LLC (“JLT LLC,” “JLT,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) maintains a risk-based Know Your Customer (“KYC”) program designed to verify customer identity, reduce fraud, support secure commercial transactions, comply with applicable legal requirements, and satisfy contractual obligations with payment processors, banking partners, logistics providers, and other business partners.

3. Risk-Based Approach
JLT LLC applies a risk-based approach to customer verification. The level of review depends on factors such as:

JLT LLC performs Customer Due Diligence appropriate to the level of risk presented by the customer and transaction.
CDD may include:

- Review of shipping details
- Review of transaction purpose where appropriate
- Review of documentation supporting higher-risk transactions
9. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
Enhanced Due Diligence may be performed for higher-risk situations, including:
- Large commercial transactions
- International shipments
- High-value engineering or manufacturing projects
- Transactions involving regulated products
- Transactions requiring additional legal or regulatory review
EDD may involve requesting additional documentation or conducting further review before proceeding.
10. Fraud Prevention
JLT LLC maintains controls designed to reduce fraud, including:

- Review of unusual purchasing patterns

11. Compliance Reviews

13. Privacy & Data Protection
Customer information collected during KYC procedures is handled in accordance with the JLT LLC Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
JLT LLC implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
14. Employee Responsibilities
Personnel involved in customer onboarding, sales, compliance, logistics, or payment operations receive guidance on their responsibilities under this policy, including:
- Collecting required customer information.
- Escalating higher-risk transactions.
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Following internal compliance procedures.
- Reporting suspected fraud or policy violations through established channels.
15. Enforcement
JLT LLC reserves the right to:
- Request additional information.
- Delay transaction processing.
- Decline or cancel transactions.
- Restrict account functionality.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
Refuse to establish or continue a business relationship where required information cannot be reasonably verified or where significant compliance concerns exist.
16. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect:
- Changes in applicable laws.

- Payment processor requirements.
